Wāhine Freelancer Database Connector
Welina mai to Hawaiʻi’s first wāhine freelancers database connector, an online directory of wāhine freelancers that live and work across the pae ʻāina. This freelancer to business matchmaking platform connects freelancers directly to potential clients and a supportive network.
Beyond simply a database connector our aim in creating this business community tool aims to help freelancers secure contracts while helping WFA gather the essential data long missing from local economic conversations when it comes to our wāhine freelancers. By elevating wāhine freelancers and tracking their economic contributions, WFA aims to drive systemic change and foster economic wellbeing, stability and resilience for wāhine freelancers across Hawaiʻi.
3 Tracks to Join WFA's Connector Database
The WFA Freelancer Database Connector is an invitation-only platform, open exclusively to wāhine freelancers who have completed one of three possible tracks with WFA. This process ensures we have genuine pilina (relationships and connections) with every freelancer and can personally vouch for each wāhine through our direct experience working with them.

Completion of the Ma Ka Hana Ka ʻIke Mentorship Program & required deliverables

Served WFA Co-Creator or Collaborator, contracted by WFA
