A Youth Powered Circular Online Boutique & Freelancer Camp

Hanahou Marketplace

Hanahou Marketplace Logo

Hanahou Marketplace is a dual-track workforce development program designed to empower high school and early college-aged girls and young women (ages 16–19) from across Hawaiʻi through hands-on training in sustainable fashion and digital freelancing for ecommerce.

Kicking off in Summer 2026, this hybrid summer program blends in-person pop-up experiences with real-world management of an online thrift store, providing participants with direct exposure to the digital skills needed to thrive as self-employed freelancers. Youth will learn to photograph and style products, write compelling product descriptions, manage inventory, process online sales, and market through social media — all while gaining insight into the circular fashion economy and the operations of a mission-driven business.

Shop the Hanahou Marketplace on November 15

To kick off our fundraising efforts to bring this program to girls and young women (ages 16–19) across the pae ʻāina, we’re launching the Hanahou Marketplace — featuring one-of-a-kind, curated, and vintage finds for sale. Every purchase directly supports the creation of this new program. 🌺

Join us at Hōʻike to celebrate, shop with purpose, and help us jump-start the Hanahou Marketplace movement!
