The Mele Metaverse will take place virtually on Sunday, December 8, 2024, 12:45 pm – 4:00 pm

The Mele Metaverse Mākeke is a live virtual holiday popup marketplace and shopping experience accessible to customers living across the pae ʻāina & beyond. 

This innovative event features a digital convention floor with interactive virtual “booths” for attendees to explore offerings from across the Hawaiian Islands. Breaking down traditional marketplace barriers, the Mele Metaverse Mākeke creates a live, interactive space where vendors and freelancers can connect with customers in real-time, all from the comfort of their own homes.

The event will begin with an inspiring panel discussion highlighting successful collaborations between wāhine entrepreneurs and freelancers, showcasing the impactful work that emerges from these partnerships. This will be followed by the main virtual shopping experience—an ideal opportunity for networking and showcasing your local business!

The Mele Metaverse Mākeke will be located in a virtual event space, hosted by Gather. Vendors will preview virtual booths before the event, and attendees will receive access links on the event day.
