đ After our tea brewing session, settle in for captivating live readings of original works by our talented writers, Misty Sanico and Jenny Ano. Then, be inspired as Kiara unveils her exciting vision for her company, Hale KÄ«, your gateway to an enchanting world of Hawaiian Tea Experiences. About the Tea
White tea is a delicate, minimally processed tea made from the young leaves and buds of the Camellia sinensis plant, resulting in a light, subtly sweet flavor with a hint of floral aroma. With lower caffeine content compared to other teas, itâs ideal for afternoon sipping or for those sensitive to caffeine. This white tea was crafted in small batches exclusively for the WFA Tea Party.

Author, Entrepreneur, International Project Manager
Hanae Bezad is an impact entrepreneur, international project manager, board advisor, curator, and the author of Being Other, a personal reflection on culture, gender, and identity. Her expertise spans government and international development institutions, civil society, and business. At the heart of her work lies a keen interest in the convergence of technology, sustainability, inclusion, entrepreneurship, and international development, and supporting the rise of a creative feminine leadership. Born and raised in Morocco, Hanae has worked and traveled across Europe, Africa, and the Americas and Asia, developing and nurturing impact tech enabled creative ventures with different communities and organizations. She is currently focused on nurturing the burgeoning leadership movement among Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color (BIWOC), supporting emerging entrepreneurs and philanthropists, and fostering cultural innovators who are driving global impact.

A May 2023 graduate from UH West OÊ»ahu, Isabel is currently an Associate Graphic Designer at the locally-owned small business, NoÊ»eau Designers. Aside from her full time job, she also takes on freelance work, including projects ranging from logos to web design. She is passionate about connecting with people from HawaiÊ»i and using design to promote the growth of local small businesses and organizations.Â
